Nicola Franceschi started Royal Notes in 2014. He wanted a notebook that would carry the weight of a serious idea without ever asking for attention. So he studied every element until none of them was decorative.
The colour of the cover. The hot stamping of the brand. The way the materials sit together. The perforation along each sheet, calibrated so a page tears out clean, without a single fray.
Twelve years later, the idea hasn't changed. The execution has.

Every notebook is printed and bound entirely in Italy, working with Italian production partners to offer a product that reflects the quality, precision and care associated with true Made in Italy manufacturing.
Royal Notes is designed to be minimal, but never ordinary.
The cover, the paper, the binding and the finish are chosen to create a notebook that feels refined from the first touch and remains useful every day.
Royal Notes is printed and bound in Italy by Grafica Veneta S.p.A., using FSC and PEFC certified paper from responsibly managed forests.
Production is supported by a photovoltaic system of approximately 7MW, while Grafica Veneta operates under certified standards including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001.
